Description

Would you like to sew your own wonderful creation to wear to the Wagga Gold Cup 2018?  Starting in February and running twice a month until April there’ll be six well-timed sessions for you to fit, cut and sew your race day dress with expert guidance.

Join me at Simply Stiches in Wagga Wagga for 2½ hours of consultation, sewing instruction and pattern alterations to adjust your pattern for personal fittings ( 2½hrs. x 6 sessions = total 15 hrs.).

You’re invited to bring your special race day design with similar sewing pattern and fabric to work on during these sessions.  With a maximum of six students in the room everyone will get some one-on-one time with the teacher.  And all students will benefit from observing the other fittings and projects in the room.

The focus of these sessions is to make a beautiful dress for the Wagga Gold Cup and to learn new sewing and pattern skills.   And bonus… everyone will have the opportunity to socialize with like-minded sewers.

In preparation of our time together I have made a Sewing Basics document and a copy of the suggested timeline for all students to read before we start our projects.   It’ll be attached to your booking confirmation email.

This is an introductory class and students will need some sewing experience.  With a maximum number of 6 students per class, you'll get more one-on-one time with the teacher.  It’s suitable for men and women alike.
